THE D WORDStarring Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey, Bill Hader, Rashida Jones, and Bradley Cooper, with Jane Curtin and Dan Aykroyd
As sisters go, Carrie (Tina Fey) and Becca (Kristen Wiig) couldn’t have been more different. Or more involved in each other’s lives. Until their long-married parents Nan and Jim (Jane Curtin & Dan Aykroyd) announced their impending divorce, and Nan unwittingly took up with Becca’s ex-boyfriend Dave (Bill Hader), forcing the girls to take sides and pitting Daddy’s girl Becca against Mom’s best pal Carrie in a battle that takes sibling rivalry to a whole new level. It’s up to their long-time childhood friend Kirsten (Rashida Jones) and her reluctant, drama-phobe husband Ty (Bradley Cooper) to reconcile the girls so that they can, in turn, try to reconcile their parents.
